MS. MARTINA MANNERSTILOVA

Dear Ms. Martina -
We love having our members feel "at home" here, but need to help them understand that the fitness area really
isn't anyone's private living room.  Some people HATE "Jeopardy"*       (* one could substitute " Fox "  or "CNN"....) and
raise a ruckus when it's on the telly.  What are we to do? (Please answer ASAP before Alan starts pulling his hair
out....)

                      Looking to you,  J & A

Dear J & A -
You have come to the right place!  You need to encourage your members to keep their negative thoughts to
themselves:  it's okay to have an opinion about a television show, but it's also okay not to express it out loud.   Some
of your wonderful members might be inadvertently hurting someone's feelings and...as Ms. Martina likes to say, "If a
blind man steps on your foot, it still hurts."
                                            Much love, M.M.M.
