PILATES AT ATFC
Pilates improves one's mental and physical well-being, increases flexibility, and strengthens muscles. Our new class -
Fridays from 5:30-6:30 - will be taught by Richard Lawler who received his training at the renowned Pilates Center of
Boulder. There he learned from teachers with a direct lineage to Joseph Pilates. Richard will be available for private
consultations, as well.
AUCTION!!!!!
We want to support those who made donations to our auction and so are including a little "testimonial" corner in the
newsletter. Let me know if you'd like to write something for a future issue. Alan and I purchased a night at the Élan
Suites in Jacksonville and stayed there a couple of weeks ago. Wow! What a gem of a getaway destination. We
had one of three apartments - modern, stylish, beautifully appointed and altogether lovely. It reminded me of a
perfect Paris apartment (except the ceilings are much taller!). Great little balcony, open backyard and just a hop
over to Gogi's restaurant or to Britt. A special treat was visiting Gabriel Lipper's art gallery on the first floor and to
enjoy his incredible work on the suite's walls. Five stars from us!

MS. MARTINA MANNERSTILOVA
Dear Ms. Martina:
As it happens, I'm in town for the USTA season; may I bring 76 trombones to a match?
Sincerely, Prof. Harold Hill
Dearest HH:
Not so much. Tennis players are an odd lot - they appreciate being adored, but quietly. They especially don't like to
be distracted when they are playing a USTA match. Maybe one flute?
Affectionately, MMM
